Our Opportunity We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our local branch with a Monday‑Friday day shift role, selling and supporting our products to the cabinet‑making and storage solution markets. Visit Richelieu.com for more information.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers by phone, email, and in person at our branch showroom; research and place orders for building materials.
Learn and stay abreast of products, changes, and trends within woodworking, kitchen & bath design, and cabinet making.
Seek out new business opportunities with customers via phone, placing orders and providing sales quotes.
Work closely with outside sales representatives on customer orders and quotes; research pricing and availability across multiple product categories.
Research product solutions for customers to solve field‑project issues.
Maintain and uphold Richelieu’s Five Core Values while striving to achieve sales objectives.
Hours: Monday‑Friday, day shift only.
Position may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds.
What We Are Looking For
A motivated, customer‑focused individual who provides top‑quality experiences when ordering or installing Richelieu products.
Adaptive, responsive to customer and team inquiries, and an excellent communicator by phone, email, and in person.
Prior inside sales or customer service experience is helpful, ideally in a desktop or office‑based setting.
Inside telesales experience preferred in the industrial market.
Knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry, kitchen/bath design, architectural hardware, or related building materials is helpful.
Strong problem‑solving skills; able to prioritize tasks, organized, and comfortable with technology (AS400 database daily).
Strong drive and creativity; ability to communicate persuasively and informatively with all customer types.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must use Word, Outlook, and Excel daily.
AS400 experience is helpful but not required.
