Alera Group is looking for a Associate Account Manager in Employee Benefits. We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. Responsibilities
Support the account management team by preparing client and employee-facing materials, conducting benefit education meetings, managing the full client lifecycle, and ensuring accurate CRM documentation Review enrollment and master applications for accuracy, adhere to service models and timelines, and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure seamless, high-quality service Represent the firm professionally at community events while collaborating with internal teams to deliver a unified, proactive client experience Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent experience with the ability to read and interpret SPDs, insurance certificates, and contracts Strong communication skills to explain complex benefit topics clearly and document activities accurately Solid mathematical ability, including calculating figures and applying basic math concepts Additional Information
This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager. Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits to our colleagues, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off and much more.
