CO-Energy, A Connell Oil, Inc company, invites qualified individuals to submit their resume for consideration to fill our Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Cardlock Fuel Sales position.
This position will support and manage our CFN branded commercial cardlock fueling station customers.
CO-Energy is a customer-focused distributor of a full line of fuels, lubricants and related products.
Our customers are primarily commercial and agricultural businesses and fleet operators of all sizes. This month we celebrate our 38th anniversary of exceeding customer expectations and we continue to grow.
The successful Cardlock Fuel Sales rep will anticipate then meet the needs of current and potential customers by promoting our cardlock fuel program and management services throughout the region.
This is a full-time position with a standard M-F, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm work schedule. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to meet an emergent customer need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the entire sales cycle within a defined territory
Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships
Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities by developing a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, referrals and cold-calling
Conduct in-person visits and presentations to potential clients using a company-provided vehicle
Work closely with the entire CO-Energy to successfully onboard new customers
All other duties as assigned to ensure superior customer service
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Meet or exceed assigned sales and customer contact goals
Achieve a 3-5% increase in new customer base each performance period
Daily contact with employees, customers and the general public in a professional manner with courtesy, discretion and sound judgement
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year of sales experience
Ability to learn about and understand the specific details, features, benefits and differences in company-sold products and services relevant to this position
Ability to inform and educate customers of same
Ability to multi-task and keep customer account information organized and confidential
Possess a valid driver license
Possess a clean driving record with no more than one (1) moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three (3) years
Ability to use normal office technology: smart phone, tablet, email, Microsoft Excel and Word
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
More than one (1) year of sales experience
Work history of successful business-to-business sales experience
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Meeting customers outside in all weather conditions - Regularly
Entering & exiting work truck (F350 or Silverado 3500 type) - Repeatedly
Lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, loading and unloading up to 50 lbs - Occasionally
