The Service Sales Manager, HVAC is a pivotal role in securing new service business untapped markets and strategically building customer relationships for GoodTower Services. The goal is to drive revenue growth in HVAC service business by proactively identifying high‑potential customers, solving pain points, and executing a repeatable, measurable system for market penetration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop positive relationships with mechanical contractors / owners / property managers to leverage into more sales and better service relationships

Identify, research, and target new commercial HVAC contractors, owners, property managers, and institutions in the greater Boston area and New England

Develop personalized outreach strategies using a mix of emails, phone calls, and in‑person visits

Schedule and conduct discovery meetings to understand potential customer needs, pain points, and fit

Present and educate customers and prospective customers on product line and service capabilities

Ensure timely and accurate service sales quoting, order entry to deliver a top‑notch experience for our customers, including all post‑sales support and inquiries and resolving customer issues promptly

Responsible for maintenance of customers in the CRM system; log all activity, notes and customer interactions / information in CRM

Track, review and update KPIs, CRM activity, and performance and communicate with partner regularly

Stay current on OEM brands, industry trends, and customer pain points

Coordinate and ensure associated parts supply and delivery is maintained for customers

Experience and Requirements:

At least 5‑7 years prior knowledge and applicable experience in commercial HVAC with in‑depth knowledge of a variety of commercial products (as a service technician or related)

1–3 years of sales experience (HVAC industry strongly preferred)

Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with a hunter mentality

Tech‑savvy with CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales intelligence tools

A passion for learning and improving daily

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers

Self‑starter, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Ability to travel to customers’ sites within the greater Boston and New England service territory

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer

The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

When on job sites must be able to do the following:

Climbing – ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps

Balancing – may be required to maintain equilibrium on unsteady surfaces

Stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling to reach equipment

Pushing, pulling and lifting components or equipment

May be required to work in all weather conditions

May be exposed to different atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, gases, etc.

May be working in close quarters such as crawl spaces or small enclosures

Must be able occasionally to lift up to 50 pounds
