About the Client Our client is a fast-growing supplier of high-voltage transformer and substation equipment. With offices in both Canada and the U.S., they serve a wide range of clients across the energy and infrastructure sectors. The team is known for its responsiveness, agility, and commitment to long-term client relationships.

Role Overview We're looking for a self-driven Sales Account Manager to lead business development across the North American energy sector. This role is ideal for someone with experience selling electrical equipment who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys owning their sales pipeline from prospecting to close.

Key Responsibilities

Build and execute sales strategies to grow market share

Manage and expand client relationships through proactive communication

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach

Participate in trade shows and face-to-face client meetings

Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals

Track sales activities and maintain accurate CRM records

Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings

Qualifications Required:

3–5 years of B2B sales experience in the electrical equipment or energy sector

Strong understanding of transformer products or power distribution systems

Ability to travel throughout Canada and the U.S.

Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

Background in engineering, business, or related field

Experience selling high-voltage or substation products

Familiarity with energy infrastructure procurement cycles
