About Penbrothers
Penbrothers is an HR & remote talent management partner and one of the fastest growing companies in the Philippines. We provide talented Filipinos with global opportunities in high-growth startups and dynamic companies, from the comfort of their own homes.
About the Client Our client is a fast-growing consumer evidence and product advocacy platform that empowers FMCG brands across Southeast Asia to generate real-user reviews, authentic user-generated content (UGC), and meaningful consumer insights. With a highly engaged regional community, they help brands build trust, drive conversion, and strengthen product credibility through product testing, sampling campaigns, e‑commerce reviews, and social advocacy. Their agile and entrepreneurial environment fosters collaboration, innovation, and performance.
About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Key Accounts Manager (KAM) to manage and grow a large portfolio of brand and agency clients across Southeast Asia, focused on campaign‑based engagement. This role is an urgent, full replacement for a departing Key Account Manager, requiring a highly proactive, independent, and resilient individual.
The ideal candidate must possess a “consultant kind of mindset” to develop ideas and provide strategic advisory, moving beyond standard sales tactics. Success is measured primarily by achieving the challenging $750K SGD annual sales target and maintaining meaningful engagement with top accounts.
Work hours: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Philippine time; Standard business hours with flexibility for cross‑country communication
Work set‑up: This is a 100% remote role; but must be flexible for possible Face‑to‑face client meetings
What you’ll do
Account Management & Growth
Manage a portfolio of FMCG brands, agencies, and regional accounts, with a focus on enterprise clients.
Proactively and consistently engage clients, especially those who have not worked with the company in the past year, to prevent lost revenue opportunities.
Build strong consultative relationships, understanding client priorities, launch calendars, and KPIs.
Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across product testing, UGC, e‑commerce reviews, advocacy packages, and sampling solutions.
Develop autonomous, accurate, and relevant proposals and strategic campaign recommendations tailored to each client’s category and objectives, minimizing the need for founder involvement.
Work closely with the Sales team, ensuring a clear differentiation to prioritize new business growth.
Sales & Revenue Drivers
Meet or exceed the quarterly and annual revenue target of $750K SGD.
Nurture warm accounts while actively re‑engaging dormant clients (being “a bit more aggressive” in staying in touch).
Educate clients on the value of real‑user advocacy and platform capabilities, demonstrating an understanding of how content fits into the ecosystem.
Prepare high‑quality proposals, quotations, and strategic recommendations.
Performance & Accountability
Top KPI is sales achievement: The top priority is hitting the annual sales quota for the role
Second crucial KPI is the meaningful engagement of target accounts on a quarterly basis. This includes tracking efforts to find customized and relevant ways to engage clients who do not reply to automated sequences.
What You Bring Must-Haves
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 3–6+ years of experience in Key Account Management or Sales, demonstrating a “consultant kind of mindset” with strong advisory and problem‑solving skills.
Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, aggressive approach to sales and client engagement.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage a large volume of accounts.
Familiarity with and active daily use of a CRM tool (HubSpot preferred) as a non‑negotiable requirement for recording client interactions, tracking next steps, and ensuring transparency in a remote setting.
Excellent client‑facing, communication, and relationship‑building skills (perfect English proficiency is required).
Strong understanding of marketing (UGC, consumer insights, sampling, brand building, e‑commerce), with preference for a sales person with a marketing background.
Proficient in Google Workspace and capable of preparing high‑quality proposals and presentations.
Energetic and resilient personal profile with a willingness to engage contacts in volumes.
Nice-to-Haves
Expertise in the company's niche product (UGC and reviews) is trainable.
Experience in the subscription‑based (SaaS) industry is a plus, as the company is launching a SaaS platform.
Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients.
Experience working with FMCG brands or agencies.
Knowledge of additional Southeast Asian languages or regional exposure in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, or Thailand.
