Purpose Statement As a Carvel Route Sales Delivery Driver, you will be fully responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our supermarket accounts.
Responsibilities Route Sales Delivery Drivers are full-time positions that are responsible for selling and delivering Carvel & Rich’s complete line of high-quality frozen goods to existing and new accounts while driving a Carvel truck. Key goals include safety, sales and credit volume, customer service and in-store merchandising execution.
Hours of work vary by assigned route. Route start time may be as early as 3 am and averages 10–12 stops a day. Must be able to work Saturdays during peak season.
Qualifications
Strong work ethic and a team player who puts the customer first
Minimum 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (will be checked)
Ability to climb in and out of the truck and carry goods weighing up to 50 pounds
High School diploma or GED equivalent
CDL‑B permit is preferred; fee reimbursed 30 days after start upon obtaining license
Previous DSD experience is a bonus
Compensation In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate: $46,985.45 – $63,568.55
