Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Route Sales Manager based in Houston, TX, with the ability to work remotely part-time. The Route Sales Manager will manage and expand existing sales routes, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and conduct customer visits to understand their needs. Key responsibilities include driving revenue growth through strategic account management, resolving customer issues, and ensuring timely product delivery and excellent service. The role also involves preparing sales reports, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with internal teams to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

Sales and account management skills, including managing client relationships and building new business opportunities

Strong organizational and time-management abilities to optimize route planning and meet deadlines

Interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with diverse clients and team members

Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude to resolve customer issues promptly

Analytical abilities to interpret sales data and develop improvement strategies

Experience in the industrial or automation industry is a plus

Proficiency in use of CRM software and sales tools

Valid driver's license with a good driving record and availability for local travel

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred
