Job Description The Veterinary District Sales Manager is accountable for executing the Vet Business Unit (BU) strategy and achieving business objectives/KPIs by delivering account-specific sales goals. This is accomplished by identifying clinic opportunities and leveraging sales data. The role works cross-functionally to grow relevance, access to clinics, and vet recommendation within the assigned geography. This is an individual contributor role.

Key Responsibilities

Translate product knowledge, customer data, and clinic data into business opportunities.

Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs, leveraging it to grow clinics within the assigned geography.

Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision makers.

Deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to veterinary staff.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the BU and organization; balance multiple internal and external interests.

Work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy effectively.

Adapt to cross-functional, fluid, complex environments.

Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies, tactics, and investments to maximize territory performance.

Manage expense and sales budgets; complete CRM call reports, expense reports and presentations timely and accurately.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree – Preferred.

Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably B2B.

Veterinary clinic experience preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Driver’s license and clean driving record.

Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approx. 20‑30 %+ travel.
