This role will be responsible for
Driving new business through proactive prospecting, pipeline development, and cross‑selling opportunities
Providing tailored agronomy insights and crop management support
Leading customer‑focused internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions
Documenting customer interactions, insights, and follow‑up actions in internal systems to maintain transparency
Supporting and participating in farmer‑facing events that promote services and strengthen relationships
Expectations will include
Maintaining a strong, active pipeline while consistently identifying new opportunities
Advising customers on integrated agronomy strategies that enhance profitability
Collaborating closely with Agronomy, Credit, and additional internal teams to provide a unified customer experience
Ensuring all interactions and activities are accurately documented for visibility across departments
Engaging intentionally with both current and future farmers to build loyalty and long‑term partnerships
Operating with professionalism while serving as a trusted ambassador for the organization
A qualified candidate will possess the following
Experience in agronomy with strong knowledge of crop management, soil health, fertility, and pest management
Demonstrated success in sales, business development, and meeting revenue targets
A customer‑centric approach with a proven ability to build meaningful, long‑term relationships
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage accounts, document interactions, and follow through on opportunities
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability and willingness to travel to customer farms, events, and regional meetings
Professional presence, reliability, and a commitment to delivering a high‑quality customer experience
Eligibility Candidates must be eligible to work in the US as well as meet the qualifications listed above in order to be considered for the Key Account Advisor job.
Compensation $90,000 per year
