ADB is a nationwide full‑turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including wireline, wireless, technology, critical infrastructure, and engineering. Performs mid‑level splicing functions for aerial, underground, and ISP cable routing on various projects. Advanced ability to read and interpret construction prints, drawings, and splice matrices to meet customer requirements. Determines equipment needs, cable route, direction, safety best practices, and performs splicing functions within a live customer facility. Independently and safely performs mid‑sheath cable entry using proper tools. Performs mid‑level single and/or ribbon splices with large cable count numbering. Reads and processes test results, and troubleshoots basic issues. Proficient in mid‑level OTDR and power meter testing. Installs and researches installation procedures for all splice enclosures. Performs basic cable relocations and hot cuts while maintaining organization. Communicates with training peers and external stakeholders to address issues and offer solutions. Responds timely to critical situations and emergency outages with urgency. Maintains full understanding of safety risks and adheres to all safety requirements and standards. Performs other duties as assigned by leadership. Success Factors

Ability to work in various physical positions (sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbing). May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite. Requires wearing common protective safety equipment (glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, steel‑toed boots). Experience And Education
1–5 years of experience performing fiber‑optic cable splicing projects. OSHA 10 certification (or ability to acquire within 6 months). First‑aid and/or CPR certifications preferred. Valid driver license with ability to obtain a DOT medical card. High school diploma or equivalent. The starting pay for this position is $22.00 per hour and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. ADB Companies, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
