As a Property Manager, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, showcasing flexibility and resilience. You will directly impact residents through exceptional customer service, managing day‑to‑day operations, marketing, leasing, cost control, resident concern resolution, and compliance with affordable housing regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Diligently ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to. Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours of collection; notify residents of delinquent rent. Provide outstanding service to residents, resolving inquiries, work orders, and requests promptly. Maintain and build the application waiting list. Conduct initial leaseprocess with certification and annual re‑certification for affordable housing, state agency, and government agency programs. Pass INSPIRE, State, and Government Agency inspections while maintaining company standards. Ensure vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly and market units diligently until occupied. Process applications for move‑in/transfer and forward to Compliance for approval. Supervise property staff, including maintenance and housekeeping; inspect unit turns, preventative maintenance, work order completion, and quarterly housekeeping inspections. Inspect and supervise the work of outside vendors. Organize community activities regularly according to the terms of the property’s management agreement and lease. Be available on call for after‑hours emergencies and other business needs. Travel to regional and home office training and/or conferences as required. Lead marketing and leasing strategy to maintain occupancy targets. Be willing to be highly mobile, walk the property multiple times a day, conduct regular inspections, and assist maintenance as needed. Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Skills & Competencies: Strong customer service skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software. Preferred Qualifications
Fair Housing Training. 2+ years of affordable housing property management experience. Real Page OneSite experience preferred. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
