Overview ¡VIVA! Miami, crafted by Chef Ray Garcia, is a culinary destination set to redefine dining in Sunny Isles Beach. It will be located in the reimagined Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort, relaunching as The Sunny, Miami’s new premier beachside retreat in early 2026.
Responsibilities As a Lead Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a memorable experience for guests. You will also mentor junior staff and maintain inventory and bar cleanliness.
Qualifications
3–5 years bartending experience
Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
Knowledge of drink recipes, drink and wine merchandising specials
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Understanding of drink service and bar terminology
Meeting minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
