Job Duties

Responsible for maximizing the sale of dock and door equipment, parts, and services within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.

Develop existing accounts and seek new business. Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships.

Consult and problem‑solve to enhance the company’s position in existing and target accounts.

Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.

Develop sales strategies, proposals, forecasts, and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.

Prepare quotations and customer correspondence.

Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information using online resources and discuss sales activities with the Sales Manager.

Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills, including travel to the Northern Kentucky branch.

Minimum Qualifications

Less than 2 years of related experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program.

Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.

Strong problem‑solving capabilities, sense of responsibility, self‑motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.

Intermediate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
