**Position Purpose:** **The Account Executive (AE)** is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing designated wholesale accounts. This role emphasizes building long-term partnerships, achieving sales goals, and supporting merchandising strategies. The AE acts as a strategic advisor, using data and market insights to grow the business while maintaining alignment with the L.L.Bean brand. Through a deep understanding of partner needs and L.L.Bean’s product line, will help guide the assortment, ordering and in-season reaction processes. They will collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients, ensuring high levels of service and continuous improvement. The AE works under the guidance of a Senior or Account Manager. **Roles/Responsibilities:**Account Management & Strategic Partnerships* Serve as primary Account Executive for L.L.Bean wholesale accounts, building strong, long-term client relationships.* Strategically partner with accounts to drive revenue, manage in-season performance, and negotiate end-of-season markdowns.* Provide exceptional customer service and act as liaison between clients and internal teams (merchandising, finance, logistics, etc.).* Lead account meetings, including strategy sessions, sell-ins, and contract negotiations.Sales Strategy & Performance Analysis* Drive sales to meet or exceed volume targets through curated assortments, marketing plans, and operational initiatives.* Analyze weekly sales, profitability, and stock data to optimize full-price sales and identify growth opportunities.* Forecast monthly revenue and reproject sales based on trends; contribute to P&L planning.Cross-Functional Collaboration* Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Inventory, and Logistics to align on business goals.**Health and Safety Requirement:** Every employee is responsible for contributing to a safe and healthy workplace. **Education Level:** 4-Year Bachelors Degree

**Years of Experience:** 3+ years

**Tools & Systems****Qualifications:**Minimum 3+ years of previous account executive experience in the apparel/outdoor market.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with customers to develop strong long-term relationships.Ability to work cross functionally and foster strong relationships.Excellent analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have the ability to travel ~25% of time based on business and account needs.Over a century ago, company founder Leon Leonwood Bean set out to make a boot to keep hunters’ feet warm and dry.
