We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our on-premiseteam in Knoxville, TN. On-Premise Sales Representatives perform a variety of functions related to the sales and marketing of wine and spirits.
Duties include:
Follows established procedures and guidelines to promote and sell Knoxville Beverage products within an assigned geographic area
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to accommodate buyer’s schedule and geographic restrictions
Provides on premise customers with exceptional customer service and extensive product knowledge
Stays organized to completeduties including product placement, pre-selling and product planning
Effectively communicates with customers in regards to vintage/price changes and product availability
Works with customers and staff to enhance knowledge of Knoxville Beverage products
Attends promotions, hosts tasting and wine/spirits dinner, and participates in supplier market visits
Comprehends and operates under state and local laws, rules and regulations that pertain to alcohol sales
Works nights and weekends as needed on promotional activities and other account activities
Qualifications
Sales experience required
Restaurant experience preferred
Some college preferred
Valid driver's license with ability to meet company driving history requirements
Ability to obtain State of Tennessee ABC Wholesalers Representative permit
Drug and background checks required
