Job Summary As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will assist with the overall management of the EVS/housekeeping department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive, and orderly in accordance with program standards.
Ensure competency in the position by participating in programs, policies, and procedures.
Provide training to staff on scheduled responsibilities.
Issue and facilitate department training documentation for all associates.
Review and prioritize work orders daily based on the community schedule.
Monitor flow and quality of work to assure timely completion and adherence to standards and regulations.
Assist with inspections and evaluate the physical condition of the community.
Attend regular staff meetings and coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments.
Maintain the department in an “inspection ready” state at all times.
Maintain excellent relations with residents, clients, and all community departments.
Carry out major projects, ensuring staff have supplies and resources needed.
Conduct regular inventory of housekeeping supplies.
Maintain appropriate security for department‑owned property, supplies, and operating funds.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1 year of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, facilities maintenance, military, or related support services.
Experience with Federal and State healthcare surveys.
Financial accountability experience preferred.
Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet).
