Job Title
Sales Agronomist - Western North Dakota

Salary $65,000 – $80,000 USD per year (base salary with bonus potential)
Responsibilities Primary responsibility will be to sell Agronomy products such as seed, agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and soil sampling services to area agricultural growers.
Additionally, you will make informed crop input recommendations to growers and interact with the public on a routine basis to promote new products through agronomy events planned by the organization.
The Sales Agronomist will report directly to the Agronomy Manager for the location.
Qualifications
2‑ or 4‑year Agronomy or related degree – solid knowledge of agronomy and crops raised in Western North Dakota
Knowledge and understanding of crop inputs used on/with Western North Dakota crops
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must have a passion for selling crop inputs and building relationships with ag growers
3 or more years of creating and making recommendations to ag growers on specialized programs utilizing ag chemicals, fertilizers, and seed
Strong analytical, mathematical, and solution‑finding skills
Desire to become embedded and involved in the local community
Ability to work extended hours during busy agronomy season
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and meet the qualifications listed above to be considered for this role
Benefits Competitive base salary plus bonus potential, excellent full benefits package, $2,500 relocation assistance if needed, and a state‑of‑the‑art agronomy facility to be operational Spring 2025.
Other Information The new state‑of‑the‑art agronomy facility will be under construction this summer and is scheduled to be operational Spring 2025. The area offers scenic outdoor activities, a good school system (K‑12), and community health services.
