Associate Director of Dining Services Protem
Brookdale is hiring a Traveling Associate Director of Dining Services Protem to cover CT, NY, MA and any additional states within the region as needed. This is a 100% traveling position with a 10 day on 4 day off schedule. Prior leadership experience in culinary required.

Responsibilities
Assists with planning, directing, training and coordinating the activities of the food service departments within the assigned division.
Manages subordinate supervisor(s) who supervise food service and associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities.
Assists with start‑up of new dining services departments; reviews menu system for accuracy, assists with setup of kitchen and reviews small ware delivery for accuracy.
Trains dining services and other staff on menu system, presents in services, and "Trains the Trainer".
Assists with development and revision of dining services forms, policies, procedures and training tools.
Obtains monthly detailed food expense report and annual food cost report from communities within assigned division; assists in keeping food costs within budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four‑year college or university preferred.
Minimum of five years dining services experience with two or more years of supervisory experience in senior housing hospitality required.
Must be ServSafe Certified; local/state/county food handling/sanitation licenses required.
Valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent travel.
Exposure to communicable diseases, blood‑borne pathogens; possible exposure to latex and other hazards.
