As an Outside Sales Representative at Pioneer Industrial, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in key markets. Utilizing your deep understanding of industrial products and services, you will forge lasting client relationships, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the continued success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion:
Identify, target, and engage with potential clients within designated markets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate and grow market share.
Client Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions, showcasing our product expertise.
Product Knowledge and Expertise:
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Pioneer Industrial's product categories.
Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to clients.
Knowledge specific to Pumps and Mechanical Seals is required.
Customer knowledge of the Eastern Kansas and Western Nebraska industrial market is desired.
Sales Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and deliver accurate and compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely and precise responses to client inquiries.
Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
Utilize CRM software to track and report on sales performance and opportunities.
Industry Networking:
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote Pioneer Industrial's products and services.
Cultivate relationships with industry influencers and key decision-makers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven track record in industrial sales, with a focus on similar product categories.
Strong technical acumen and familiarity with industrial processes.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
