Position Overview We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive with expertise in both Linear and Digital platforms. The role is based in the Detroit/Birmingham office and reports directly to the Vice President, WBD Sales. As part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s sales organization, the Account Executive will sell across TNT Sports, including Bleacher Report and House of Highlights, and collaborate with Marketing, Planning, and Account Services teams to deliver cross‑platform programs across premier leagues such as the NCAA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, and Roland Garros.

Responsibilities

Generate revenue through media brand partnerships, focusing on linear, digital video and league partnership sales.

Build and leverage relationships with key contacts at major agencies and national brands in the upper Midwest.

Partner with internal teams to develop cross‑platform programs aligned with client KPIs.

Manage and analyze the performance of clients’ campaigns, tailoring solutions to achieve objectives.

Support account management of a portfolio of clients, applying consultative sales strategies and data‑driven insights.

Travel to client territories and events as required; work from the office three days per week.

Qualifications

At least 5 years’ media sales experience; linear, digital video, custom content and league partnership sales preferred.

Strong, established relationships with key decision makers in Detroit and the upper Midwest.

Proven track record of negotiating, structuring and closing media brand partnerships that grow revenue.

Entrepreneurial mindset—creative thinker, results‑oriented, confident, and able to thrive in an unstructured environment.

Strong understanding of GEN Z sports fans and viewership.

Ability to communicate media industry trends in an easy‑to‑understand manner.

Passionate about brand storytelling in a sports context.

Strong organizational and project‑management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience guiding clients on Turner Sports properties and achieving results based on objectives.

Experience managing and analyzing campaign performance to recommend tailored solutions.

Ability to sell beyond sports properties with complementary WBD content.

Excellent time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
