$60,000–$65,000 per year

Summary The Community Engagement Manager supports and delivers core events, communications, and engagement initiatives that shape daily Community Life at Two Step Farm. The Manager co‑creates events and other community‑building initiatives, contributing to planning and execution of experiences that reflect the community vision. The Manager also leads marketing and communications, shaping how the community connects, engages, and experiences the community.

Scope (Responsibilities)

Collaborate with Director and colleagues to develop and implement a dynamic community engagement strategy reflecting the Two Step Farm brand, vision, and culture.

Lead all marketing and communication efforts, including message points, promotional and educational campaigns, e‑newsletter content, and other tools to disseminate information.

Plan and execute resident events such as annual celebrations, social activities, philanthropy, recreation, and resident clubs.

Manage event budgets, ensuring alignment with Cohere and Two Step Farm financial strategies.

Identify, vet and secure vendor partners, negotiate pricing and contracts, and secure insurance, liability waivers and documentation.

Collaborate with residents, partners, private agencies and non‑profits to develop programs offering unique opportunities.

Deliver a robust resident welcome program to connect with every new homeowner.

Ensure brand standards for Two Step Farm and Cohere Community Life are met across all programs and promotional material.

Acquire necessary permits, licenses and documents to comply with city, county and state regulations.

Analyze resident surveys and data to provide programming solutions aligned with resident interests.

Participate in Cohere Councils of Excellence and engage in ongoing personal and professional development.

Collaborate with the broader Community Life team to share best practices and achieve efficiencies.

Attend after‑hours events and meetings as necessary.

Qualifications

College degree in Marketing/Communications, Hospitality Management or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.

3–5 years of progressive leadership experience with supervision of individuals or teams.

1–3 years of marketing/communications experience, including design of promotional/marketing material preferred.

3–5 years of event planning experience in hospitality, event management, recreation management, non‑profit or similar fields.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media, Mailchimp, WordPress, HTML, Canva, Adobe suite, photo editing software strongly preferred.

Experience in a master‑planned community or residential community highly desirable.

Work Environment

Collaborative, in‑person environment based in Montgomery, Texas.

Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Work outdoors in varied weather, standing for extended periods.

Provide own transportation for off‑site programs and meetings; valid driver’s license required.

Frequent lifting or moving up to 30 pounds.
