Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
New Edge Associates is proud to partner with a growing community bank to identify a Portfolio Management Officer II to support its commercial lending team. This role is critical to maintaining strong credit quality, disciplined portfolio oversight, and efficient deal execution. Working closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, and Underwriting, the PMO II ensures credit relationships remain compliant, well‑documented, and proactively monitored. The ideal candidate brings strong credit acumen, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to identify emerging risks and support relationship teams through the full credit lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Support RMs with financial analysis, credit memos, term sheets, and deal screening
Monitor covenant compliance, exceptions, maturities, delinquencies, and criticized assets
Coordinate documentation and underwriting packages across internal teams
Assist with annual reviews, renewals, and risk rating assessments \
Ensure compliance with credit policy, BSA/AML, OFAC, and regulatory standards
Conduct site visits and assist with department‑wide initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Master’s or equivalent experience)
Formal credit training required
5+ years of experience in commercial credit, lending, or portfolio management
Strong knowledge of banking products, credit documentation, and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with nCino, FIS IBS, Salesforce, or SQL a plus
Highly organized with strong communication and time‑management skills
