Geneva Lake Manor has a great opportunity for the right person! We are currently seeking a Medication Assistant to complement the clinical nursing team to provide compassion and quality care for our residents/patients.
Under the supervision and direction of a licensed nurse, the medication assistant administers and records select oral, nasal, transdermal, rectal, inhalant, and ophthalmic scheduled medications to residents. Trained to measure and record blood pressure, radial pulse, and blood glucose readings by way of a finger stick. Also trained to perform and clean wound treatments.
Qualifications:
Must have successfully completed the State of Wisconsin Medication Assistant Training Program or have successfully completed an approved college level pharmacology course and training in medication administration.
Current, valid CNA license in Wisconsin.
Strong knowledge of patient care.
Ability to work as a team and efficiently during the shift.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient‑focused care approach.

What status we have available:
Full‑Time (30-40 hours per week)
Part‑Time (20-29 hours per week)
Casual (19 hours or less per week)
PRN (3 shifts per month)
College‑Flex: Three shifts per quarter (three months): Start before leaving for school and earn money while completing online education.
What shifts we have available:
AM Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
PM Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
NOC Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
