Responsibilities
Meet monthly forecast for used car sales volume sustaining sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
Create and organize all sales activities for the Used Car Sales department.
Ensure that salespeople are informed of all used inventory and current advertising efforts including rebates and incentives. In addition build rapport with them and assist with their sales.
Appraise all incoming used vehicles.
Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the dealership's cost and time limitations.
Establish and control wholesaling activities.
Work with General Managers to forecast monthly sales expenses.
Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience.
Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Values in all interaction with customers, co‑workers, and vendors.
Partner with the Financial Services Department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
2 years of Automotive Sales Management experience (USED CAR MANAGEMENT PREFERRED).
Proficient in operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Office: Excel and Word.
ADP Dealer Services Experience a plus.
Ability to work independently and be self‑motivated.
Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
Strong take‑charge leadership attitude with a record of team building, including recruiting, training, and motivating.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of the local market and auctions.
Real attitude with a high‑energy personality.
Ability to work well in a process‑driven environment.
Professional appearance and work ethic.
