What You’ll Do
Complete hands‑on training: Participate in an extensive training program, including time in a manufacturing environment to develop practical knowledge.
Develop product expertise: Gain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
Provide technical support: Assist customers by offering technical information and guidance to help them select the appropriate products for their needs.
Respond to inbound sales inquiries: Handle sales calls from existing customers regarding product details, pricing, order status, or delivery confirmation.
Proactively engage customers: Reach out to existing customers via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to generate new sales opportunities.
Process orders and quotes: Enter orders and quotes for both stock items and custom‑manufactured components and systems.
Collaborate with Outside Sales: Work with Outside Sales representatives on open opportunities within their sales territories to drive customer growth.
Analyze sales data: Review sales figures and market trends to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree (required).
Strong mechanical aptitude or technical inclination, able to understand and work with complex technical or mechanical specifications.
1‑3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment.
Strong computer skills required to manage daily tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with Microsoft AX is a plus.
Adaptability to new processes, technologies, and work environments.
Effective communication with customers—understand needs and provide high‑quality service.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Efficient sales process management—from order entry to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Ability to handle multiple orders and quotes simultaneously with efficiency and organization.
Data analysis skills to identify growth opportunities.
Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and management of multiple projects.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and cooperation across departments.
Problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Consistency, reliability, and attention to detail.
Physical requirements: Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 lbs as needed.
Your Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
