Project Manager
Location: US-TX-Fort Worth
Overview The Client Manager is responsible for driving business development, cultivating client relationships, and advancing the firm's strategic growth in water and wastewater treatment. This role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery excellence, and active client engagement, with a focus on the Dallas‑Fort Worth market. The Regional Treatment Practice Leader will oversee projects, mentor staff, and identify and pursue new opportunities.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
Develop opportunities in DFW in major areas of water resources and water/wastewater treatment.
Coordinate with Parkhill's Marketing and Business Development Teams to develop and execute a business development plan for the DFW Region. Integrate with the overall strategy of the Treatment Sector's Strategic Vision and Operational Plan.
Build long‑term relationships with clients, team partners and industry leaders.
Develop North Texas Strategy to win Treatment work.
Identify Opportunities / Future Project work & coordinate win plan with DFW design team.
Represent Parkhill at council / commission meetings / conferences / seminars.
Work across Sectors and office locations to fully utilize Parkhill's experiential knowledge.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas required; ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico and Oklahoma.
10 years of experience specializing in either water resources and/or water/wastewater treatment.
Business Development experience, including pursuing clients, preparing proposals, and managing relationships.
Experience working with state, regional, and local public agencies – including municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and other state entities – as well as state and federal funding agencies.
Possesses expertise in civil engineering principles, regulatory compliance, and best practices in water and wastewater treatment.
