Position Summary Join our dynamic RT Specialty team and play a key role in supporting a young book through administrative support, delivering exceptional client service, and driving business growth. Job Responsibilities
Account Management & Renewals
Prepare accounts for new business and renewals as directed by brokers.
Initiate renewal reviews to ensure optimal coverage and recommend strategies for client retention.
Broker Support & Market Submissions
Assist brokers in creating market submissions and quote cover letters for agents.
Review incoming documents for accuracy and completeness.
Relationship Building & Business Development
Cultivate strong relationships with brokers and demonstrate a deep understanding of brokerage operations.
Collaborate with brokers to drive renewals and generate new business through client referrals.
Strategic Planning & Presentations
Develop new business strategies in partnership with brokers, including proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Risk Evaluation & Compliance
Assess and mitigate risks associated with accounts while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Data Accuracy & Reporting
Maintain accurate data in internal systems and produce high-quality documentation in line with company standards.
Generate performance reports and leverage insights to inform brokers on portfolio trends and identify opportunities to enhance the book of business.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to meet contractual obligations.
Resolve invoicing issues with Premium Accounting and manage notices of cancellation effectively.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; especially within Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of commercial property lines preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with insurance systems.
