This Position reports to: Area Sales Manager
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
Responsibilities
Customer Interface & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison for OEM customers, establish and maintain strategic account relationships, resolve issues, and monitor customer claims.
Sales Strategy & Account Planning: Develop and implement sales and account plans, including executive relationship strategies, coverage plans, opportunity prioritization, and structured follow-up to achieve targets.
Growth & Market Development: Drive market share and margin growth by identifying and securing new OEM customers through networking, webinars, and outreach; propose recovery plans for potential order shortfalls.
Insight & Communication: Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence, and hit-rate data to internal teams; monitor competitor activity and formulate response strategies while creating added value through cross-selling and ease of doing business.

Qualifications
BA or BS preferred with minimum of 3+ years related experience or additional experience in lieu of education will be considered
Industry & Product Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of the electrical industry, ABB products, and strong technical skills in application, take-off, and proposal development.
Customer & Negotiation Skills: Proven experience with complex contract negotiations, OEM customers, and channel partners, supported by a customer-focused mindset and quick responsiveness.
Leadership & Quality Focus: Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
Analytical & Digital Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing analytical software and sales tools to drive insights and performance.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
Salary & Bonus While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually and is bonus eligible.
