Inside Sales Representative – Full-time – Grayslake, IL
Role and Responsibilities
Grow and maintain customer relationships by making outbound and answering inbound calls, meeting minimum outbound talk time.
Leverage knowledge of domestic sales processes and material handling & industrial parts to identify customer needs, present appropriate products and services.
Build and foster effective customer relationships and sales opportunities to support required sales objectives.
Navigate and research information within company ERP and CRM systems to check product price and availability, respond and enter customer feedback and action items.
Notify customers of all backordered items and provide delivery dates.
Communicate with customers to gather claim information as needed and enter the information into company sales systems.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Customer Support or inside sales role.
Proficient understanding of the material handling and industrial parts industry, customers, suppliers and vendors.
Demonstrated inside sales techniques including cold calling, customer qualification and acquisition.
Knowledge and ability to handle credit card processing.
Proficiency using a company ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
