Position Summary The

Associate Account Sales Executive

creates business relationships and increases incremental CRM revenue to CDK clients through face‑to‑face sales activities. Works in conjunction with channel partners to grow CDK’s share of wallet in the existing client base. Achieves the annual assigned sales plan, working under the guidance of the Director of Sales.

Territory includes MN, WI and Northern half of IL - must live in territory

Responsibilities

Under guidance from the Director of Sales, set clear, measurable performance goals to achieve a sales quota:

Identify new opportunities for our CRM with existing customers currently using our DMS

Grow and maintain existing accounts

Generate significant revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process‑oriented approach.

Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

At least 1‑2 years of demonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships in a B2B sales environment

Automotive retail experience

Experience using consultative solution selling to align the client’s business needs with a solution

Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities

Ability to manage a sales process and provide customer support

75% travel with overnight travel expected

Preferred Attributes & Qualifications

Knowledge of CDK CRM software - highly preferred

Initiative and self‑starter

Bachelor’s Degree, preferred, not required

Salary $65,000 + Commissions

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, benefits, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
