Responsibilities

Strategically plan and execute key sales activities across the Michigan region, actively engaging with customers and managing the full sales cycle to achieve regional business objectives.

Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients in the automotive and metal processing industries, particularly Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.

Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, retention, and growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing long‑term relationships.

Collaborate closely with internal engineering support to deliver efficient, customer‑specific automation and machine vision solutions.

Continuously monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities and proactively address potential risks.

Support regional marketing initiatives by participating in trade shows, industry events, and customer‑facing activities to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above; a technical background is highly preferred.

5+ years of experience within industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, or related industrial technologies, with a strong focus on new business development.

Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new customers independently, including OEMs, system integrators, and Tier 1 / Tier 2 automotive suppliers.

Strong understanding of automation and machine vision solutions, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and clearly articulate customer value.

Highly self‑motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in cold outreach and on‑site customer engagement.

Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, with minimal supervision.

Willingness to travel frequently.
