The Global Account Manager is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. You’re responsible for leading and driving sales engagements across US Air Force/Space Force districts. You’re motivated by the desire to solve critical challenges facing our customer’s secure environment, so you’re prepared to connect them with a solution for every stage of threat prevention.
You’ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding your district quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. This is a unique opportunity for a go‑getter to win business and market share by actively displacing competing technologies.
Your Impact
Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and work with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer
Initiate long‑standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors using consultative selling skills
Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise‑wide deployments
Understand the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks
Engage a programmatic approach to demand generation, development, and expansion of your territory
Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for each account
Stay updated on industry news and trends and their impact on Palo Alto Networks products and services
Travel within your territory and to company‑wide meetings as necessary
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of SaaS‑based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security
Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners to bring a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach for customers
Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new, white‑space territories and accounts
Deep knowledge of the U.S. DoD and/or intelligence community
Successful track record selling complex solutions
Excellent time management skills, working autonomously and with self‑direction
Highly competitive, ramps quickly, extremely adaptive, and takes pride in exceeding production goals
Active security clearance

Compensation Disclosure:
The compensation offered will depend on qualifications, experience, and location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary plus commission target (for sales roles) is expected to be between $264,000 and $363,000 per year, with potential additional stock units and bonuses.
