Dealer Sales Manager – Alabama
Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Dealer Sales Manager based in Alabama, working remotely with 50% travel required.
Job Summary As a Dealer Sales Manager, you’ll be part of our Independent Retail team working as a remote employee in Alabama. You will get to:
Grow, develop, and drive sales within a specific region or market.
Manage dealer inventories to ensure appropriate category growth by market and to increase category penetration in underdeveloped markets.
Execute new dealer onboarding: prospecting, completing all paperwork, on‑boarding of new dealers, and training new dealers.
Attend meetings and shows such as National Sales Training, Dealer Convention, Test Drive Events, Regional Meetings, etc.
Parts lookup, parts reorders, and parts pricing issues.
Service – work with dealers to resolve issues, locate service bulletins, and handle returns.
Warranty – follow up on denied claims and work with dealers on non‑traditional warranties.
Qualifications
Be a field‑based employee. This may require you to travel 50‑60% of the time depending on the sales season and requirements of our customers.
Be comfortable handling a trailer with equipment over 50% of the time; you will be responsible for meeting DOT requirements where applicable.
4‑year degree preferred, or a combination of additional experience and education.
5+ years of successful performance selling into an Independent Retail Channel.
Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
