We are looking for former athletes to achieve new career heights on a dedicated, compassionate team of successful insurance agents. Our insurance agency is expanding and needs the help of former athletes used to putting in work on the court, on the field, the track, or the ring, to grow our list of prospective clients as well as themselves in a fast pace rewarding environment. We’re directly responsible for handling asset protection and insurance benefit options for local, regional, and various organizations from police departments, school boards of education officials, and multiple government agencies at the local and state level. Moreover, we have a winning culture and a comprehensive self-development program for business. Work from home or office when needed.
Responsibilities
Answer clients completely on policy or billing questions including explanations about their coverage or rate adjustments to ensure total understanding
Stay up to date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly speaking with our industry partners so you can help clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team understand and address the latest rules and policy updates
Help create competitive quotes when it is time to issue renewals or make updates to a current policy
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s degree required, or commensurate insurance industry experience
Candidates should be very strong communicators and problem solvers, and have great follow-up skills
Relevant insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is helpful but not required; training will be provided if your talents are a good match
Applicants must have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must have active insurance license in your state or must be willing to get licensed in 90 days
Compensation Compensation:
$68,000 per year
