Job Description As a Pro Paint Specialist you will be responsible for engaging professional painting contractors and helping them meet their unique needs.
You will work in a Home Depot store, collaborating with the Pro Desk staff and outside sales reps to deliver products and services that exceed customer expectations.
Good communication, a positive attitude and the ability to work independently are essential.
Prior experience in paint or sales is not required – training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with local professional contractors, understanding their business and product needs.
Provide personalized service at the store: pull and tint paint orders, mix colors, supply tools, and facilitate quick checkout for contractors.
Collaborate closely with Behr’s outside sales reps to support customer inquiries and closing of orders.
Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce; maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs and support the Home Depot team to streamline the buying experience.
Qualifications
Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills; prior experience with CRM tools is a plus.
High school diploma or GED.
Bilingual ability is a bonus but not required.
Self‑starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
