We’re hiring if you want to make a real difference. This remote position covers all of North Carolina. Must reside within the covered territory to be considered. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling Breathing Protection Equipment to all First Responders across the New England states.

Job Responsibilities

Will generate new revenue from our sales portfolio to fire departments and fire training schools and colleges.

Identifies potential target end-users & prioritizes accounts and opportunities to produce the best results using both direct and indirect sales channels and strategies.

Builds a strong distributor network that is aligned with the company’s distributor & vertical market strategy designed to maximize Draeger sales & profits.

Maintains a high awareness of market trends and the competition, their strengths, weaknesses, sales and marketing methods & shares this information with internal stakeholders.

Develops an annual sales plan and applies time & territory management techniques to maximize productivity & plans sales activities 30-60 days in advance.

Adhere to all company import compliance and export compliance Work Instructions, Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university or have extensive related experience.

Minimum of four year’s sales experience in selling personal protective equipment to fire departments.

Special Competencies Or Certifications

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

Must be able to perform routine arithmetic calculations and have a complete understanding of pricing structures and gross margin.

Must be able to communicate effectively, including in writing, to articulate company and product information to customer.

Must be able to understand the technical aspects of our products and their applications.

Must be willing to travel up to 60%.

Work Environment / Conditions Most work will be done at industrial and municipal sites. There will be travel by vehicle or plane to customer locations, which will involve routine traffic hazards. Frequent overnight travel can be expected. Customer site visits to remote locations with potentially hazardous conditions.

The compensation includes a base salary of $85,000 plus uncapped commission based on sales performance. On Target Earnings (OTE) are $125,000 annually at 100% of quota, with the potential to exceed this based on individual results.
