Job Summary Responsible for servicing specific accounts, types of accounts, and/or a specific geographical area as assigned by the Manager. Generate new and continued product sales and communicate technical aspects of products and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
Sales and field support of all forecasted products to the territory or customer base assigned.
Conduct training for customers and potential customers in the assigned area.
Maintain technical understanding to serve as a competent trainer and problem solver.
Coordinate field training within the assigned area utilizing factory personnel where appropriate.
Conduct sales calls to increase TIC business.
Provide current customers with competent service in all areas of sales support, before and after order entry.
Attend conventions, exhibits, and meetings to stay current with industry trends.
Maximize time with current and potential customers and buying influences.
Provide the Manager and product departments with product requirement/acceptability information.
Meet or exceed sales targets assigned by the Manager.
Contribute to the overall growth of Toshiba products.
Provide input data and supporting information for monthly and annual sales forecasts.
Travel 25%–50% travel required.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years of sales experience or equivalent.
Proven record of significant accomplishments.
Education and Training Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements Position requires standing, walking, and traveling as outlined above.
Compensation Base salary range of $75,000–$90,000 plus a competitive commission package.
