RISE is an innovative human services network established in 1987 to transition individuals from institutional settings into family environments. Since then, we have expanded services to include residential and day programs, employment assistance, managed care, and home‑ and community‑based support for children, adults, and families across multiple states.
We are excited to announce an opening for a DTA (Day Treatment for Adults) Coordinator, a safety‑sensitive leadership position based at RISE’s DTA Center in ??????, AZ. This role requires a dedicated professional experienced in developmental disabilities to provide support and leadership to our Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff and the people and families we serve.
Responsibilities
Manage and support RISE’s Day Program Center, implementing the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Create, develop, and engage ongoing programs and activities for our member population.
Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSP) staff.
Establish partnerships with clients, families/guardians, and funding agencies.
Oversee and manage program records, demonstrating competency in financial and budgetary matters.
Complete and maintain payroll and billing documentation accurately and within designated timeframes.
Ensure programs meet licensing, survey, and contractual compliance requirements.
Promote respect and choice for those supported, ensuring daily activities are based on individual plans.
Advocate for the rights of people receiving support and foster an environment free of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Qualifications
Demonstrated desire, interest, and experience working with people with disabilities or special needs.
High School Diploma or GED and at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to provide physical assistance, including lifting and supporting clients, and train staff in these supports.
Flexibility to work variable hours.
Self‑directed with minimal supervision.
Travel within state may be required.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Additional Candidacy Requirements
Valid Arizona driver’s license, minimum age of twenty‑one, and meet driver requirements set by RISE Insurance Agency.
Must successfully complete a background check, drug test, and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
