TITLE: Facilities Director

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Community Clubs

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Salary, Exempt

HOURS: 9 AM – 6 PM work schedule Mon-Fri, withoccasionalnights and weekends.

SALARY: $60,000/yr.

Job Summary The Facilities Director oversees the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all organizational facilities and equipment. This role provides leadership to the facilities team, ensures safe and reliable environments for staff and members, and supports operational goals through proactive planning and effective resource management.

Essential Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations, scheduling, and assignments of the facilities and equipment department.

Develop and lead preventive maintenance programs to minimize operational disruptions and support production and programming targets.

Manage inventory, budgeting, and cost estimation for all sanitary and cleaning supplies used across Clubs.

Coordinate and monitor routine maintenance, repairs, and facility improvement projects.

Receive and evaluate work order requests, determine appropriate actions, and ensure timely resolution.

Oversee maintenance and cleanup for offsite Club activities and Club-sponsored events.

Ensure all facilities and equipment are prepared and fully operational for daily use and special events.

Maintain organized files for warranties, inspection reports, licenses, service agreements, and equipment contracts.

Oversee the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.

Provide recommendations for the procurement of new equipment and facility-related investments.

Collaborate with management in preparing and implementing the department budget.

Manage rental contracts, maintenance agreements, and maintenance tracking systems.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Maintain eligibility to drive Club vehicles, including passing MVR and DOT driver clearance.

Skills & Requirements

Basic understanding of—or ability to quickly learn—facility systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.

Ability to maintain records, warranties, and service documentation.

Ability to interpret written instructions in manuals and manufacturer specifications.

Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software for documentation and record keeping.

Education & Experience

Associate degree preferred.

Experience managing facilities, equipment, and events similar to those of the organization is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift to 25 pounds as needed.

Ability to access and navigate all areas of facilities.

Ability to access all components of company equipment.

Working Conditions

Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities based on operational needs.

Typical work involves standing, sitting, and walking in general office and facility conditions.

Flexibility in work schedule may be required.
