Job Summary The Production Coordinator II provides a variety of activities and related tasks as it pertains to coordinating repair jobs and engineering products. The Production Coordinator II will be responsible for scheduling, ordering needed materials, and working directly with the customers to ensure a prompt and accurate product.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

All additional responsibilities of a Production Coordinator I

Provides support to the Production Coordinator III and field and shop service leaders as needed

Schedule service and engineered product jobs in collaboration with customers and shop management to ensure on-time delivery

Updates the production board, Shop Foreman/Operation Supervisors, Valvkeep, and customer of any changes to the schedule

Turnaround/outage cost track and weekly invoicing

Plans, coordinates, and prepares valve specifications and/or material requisitions and bid evaluations

Provides technical support and assists in resolution of manufacturing problems as required

Sources and procures direct shipment, special, and rush order items in a cost-effective and timely manner

Follows up on open quotations and responds to customer requests

Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities

Works closely with sales support, Account Managers, and business development

Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports

Positional Requirements & Qualifications Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

1 or more years as a Production Coordinator I or equivalent experience

Skills & Abilities

Successful completion of all Production Coordinator I certification requirements

Successful completion of the Production Coordinator II learning path in LinkedIn Learning

Successful completion of Technical 102 training for assigned product vertical(s)

Successful completion of the level II written test for assigned product vertical(s)

Highly organized

Effective time-management

Detail-oriented

Strong leadership

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments

Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines

Clear background check and drug and alcohol screening
