Join Our Team as OSHC Coordinator – Good Samaritan OSHC, Bli Bli!

Lead a lively before, after school and vacation care program for children in Kindy to Year 6 at our licensed OSHC (up to 90 children). Bring your creativity, energy and love of child‑centred practice as you design flexible programs that celebrate children’s ideas, interests and cultures.

Set in a purpose‑built, stand‑alone space on the Good Samaritan Catholic College campus, our days are full of movement, connection and fun.

The team manages daily school drop‑offs and pick‑ups, shares healthy breakfasts, and gets hands‑on with children as they help prepare nutritious afternoon snacks—turning mealtimes into moments of learning, laughter and belonging.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.

Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.

Develop and implement innovative, play‑based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.

Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.

Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.

Requirements of the Role

Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.

Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.

Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.

Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.

Previous childcare service management experience.

Child Protection training is required for this role.

Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).

Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
