Position Summary Semper Solaris is looking for an organized and motivated Roofing Service Technician II in our Roofing department to join our Manteca location. Under the general direction of the Service Manager and the Roofing Installation Manager, the Roofing Service Technician performs a wide variety of Roofing Service duties. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and a genuine care to his/her work craft. Most importantly the ideal candidate will be able to maintain a high level of business ethics.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:
Must be able to troubleshoot leaks and think independently to problem solve
Be able to estimate and provide Quote repairs to customers.
Carpentry skills a plus for wood repairs
Open availability for emergency service calls
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills both verbally and written with customers and team members
Other duties and tasks as needed
Pay Rate: $26-$32 per hr. Depending on Experience
Qualifications
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone
Must be able to climb ladders and stairs regularly, and be comfortable with heights of at least 20 feet and walking on all roof types
Able to work in various weather conditions and in extreme temperatures
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
