Job Description Insight Global is seeking an entry-level Business Development Representative for our client, a national convenience store retail association. This client bridges the gap between large vendors such as Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Coke, RedBull, and independently owned convenience stores. They negotiate programs with these vendors for preferential rates, discounts, rebates, etc. on behalf of their membership base, which is currently over 5,000 independently owner c-stores. This company has member programs for all areas of the business – food/beverage products, propane, software such as point-of-sale systems, fresh food, ice, etc. This BDR will be responsible for servicing current convenience store clients, building relationships, promoting our clients' service offerings, upselling on programs, as well as growing the business by identifying new clients, through referrals. This is a remote position, but primarily in the field, traveling to clients throughout the greater Knoxville, TN area, 5 days per week.

Skills and Requirements

1+ year of work experience, interacting with customers or clients

Desire to be in a Business Development, Sales or Customer Service-oriented role

Must have car & valid driver's license

Must live in the greater Knoxville, TN area

Must be comfortable driving to clients throughout the Knoxville, TN surrounding area 5 days/week. - Bilingual in Hindi (ideally Gujarati dialect)

Prior experience working in a field-based business development or sales role

Familiarity with convenience/retail stores
