1st Shift (Day Shift) | Duration: 6+ Months Aerotek is seeking skilled Concrete Carpenters and Laborers to support the construction of concrete substations for electrical grid infrastructure. Build and install structural concrete formwork systems Place and secure reinforcing steel per engineering specifications Install PVC conduit for electrical and grounding systems Position and secure anchors and embedded hardware Assist with concrete pouring, leveling, and finishing Spot, align, and fasten equipment to anchor points Organize and handle equipment and materials for installation Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for formwork and installation tasks Qualifications
Experience in concrete work and finishing General construction and carpentry skills Rebar installation experience Ability to use hand and power tools Substation construction experience Preferred Experience
Prior work on substations or similar heavy civil projects Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications OSHA 10 Certification preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Safety & Training
Comprehensive safety training provided before site work begins All PPE supplied by the company Physical & Travel Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks Travel may be required; per diem available if applicable Career Development
