Weekly Dog Walker
We're currently looking for a Dog Walker in Long Beach, CA 90807. A lovely family in Long Beach is seeking a Weekly Dog Walker to help with their friendly and fun-loving, two-year-old English Bulldog-Pit Bull mix. Care would be needed once per week, between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with and familiar with the breed and walking larger dogs. The dog is comfortable in his harness and walks well, but experience with leash training is a plus! Schedule: 1 week day - Flexible depending on provider's schedule Between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm Start date: ASAP Rate: $30-45 per visit depending on experience Responsibilities
Walk the dog around the neighborhood for approximately 20 minutes (Neighborhood is a 1 mile loop) Ensure the dog's safety and comfort throughout the walk Maintain control of the dog at all times and use harness Provide water and brief check-ins before and after the walk Communicate any concerns or observations to the owner Requirements
2+ years of pet care experience Leash training experience is a plus! Authorized to work in the United States Minimum of a photo ID for ID verification purposes Able to provide 2 professional references related to pet care experience Able to successfully pass a background check and social media screen Compensation
