Amazon Channel Manager

The ideal candidate for this hybrid position will be in the Twin Cities Metro area with the ability to work onsite as needed at the Bloomington Q-Central office. Position summary: The Amazon Channel Manager is responsible for leading QBP's strategy, execution, and performance within Amazon's 3P Seller Central ecosystem. This role ensures that product content is optimized, fulfillment operations are reliable, catalog integrity is maintained, and sales are maximized across QBP's owned and distributed brands. The ideal candidate is both analytical and detail-oriented, with a deep understanding of Amazon's platform and a proven ability to drive channel growth. The Amazon Channel Manager will oversee a specialist and collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Brand, Marketing, Fulfillment, Product, and Customer Service to deliver a best-in-class brand experience on Amazon. Key responsibilities: Own and execute the Amazon 3P Seller Central strategy for QBP's portfolio of brands. Lead day-to-day operations on the channel, including product setup, catalog health, listing optimization, pricing, promotions, and troubleshooting. Manage and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display) within Seller Central to drive visibility, conversion, and sales performance. Manage and mentor direct reports responsible for content, listing compliance, and operations. Partner with internal teams and external agencies to continuously improve brand presence and drive growth on the Amazon platform. Monitor sales performance, traffic, conversion, Buy Box attainment, and key channel health metrics. Oversee fulfillment strategy and inventory planning to ensure a positive customer experience and minimize stockouts or overstock. Maintain compliance with Amazon policies, staying ahead of changes and implementing solutions as needed. Lead issue resolution for account health problems, listing takedowns, or policy violations in partnership with Seller Support and internal stakeholders. Report regularly on KPIs, wins, challenges, and opportunities to leadership. Work collaboratively across ecommerce, brand, and finance teams to align Amazon initiatives with broader business goals. Qualifications: Required: 4+ years managing Amazon Seller Central accounts with demonstrated success. 2+ years managing direct reports. Strong understanding of Amazon platform mechanics including A+ content, keyword optimization, fulfillment (FBA/FBM), advertising, and catalog troubleshooting. Experience managing performance via data and dashboards (e.g., Business Reports, Brand Analytics). Ability to manage multiple brands and product categories. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Preferred: Experience with tools like Helium 10, Feedonomics, ChannelAdvisor, or Jungle Scout. Other related criteria: Domestic travel: Ability to travel domestically 1 or more times a year which includes flying by plane and driving a motor vehicle. Must possess a valid US driver's license and fulfill the requirements of being a QBP Approved Driver. Physical requirements: Ability to perform work on a phone and computer extensively.
