As a Relationship Banker, you will play a key role in: managing, retaining, and acquiring long-lasting win-win relationships with our customers identifying and understanding customers' long-term financial needs and offering tailored product and services solutions leveraging the bank's latest technology products to meet our customers' expanding needs We will help you grow your career at East West Bank by providing you with ongoing training to expand your business knowledge, grow your digital acumen, and build long-lasting relationships with our customers. Responsibilities include: achieving quarterly and annual team/branch sales goals: C&I, CRE, SBA, mortgage, treasury management, deposits, wealth management investment products, international deposits/wires, and other commercial and consumer products sourcing and developing loans including but not limited to HELOC, Residential Loan and Commercial Loan complies with annual renewals and all regulations for MLO; understands the interest rates, financing, and calculations to better service potential mortgage customers maintains a thorough knowledge of the bank's deposit, loan and ancillary products and an understanding of the qualifications required assists customers with financial needs such as cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan/credit card payments, wire transfers and foreign currency exchange is a highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results with clients' best interest in mind applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet clients' needs engages and partners with team members and other lines of business to offer most appropriate products to customers based on customers' need communicates effectively and confidently while engaging with clients is able to learn products, services, and technologies quickly and educate customers on conducting banking transactions online, via mobile app and self-service portals is expert in using digital resources and technologies to optimize clients' digital banking experience has a strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology performs other duties as assigned Qualifications include: high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of customer service, teller, sales experience, and MLO experience within the banking and/or financial service industry highly preferred strong working knowledge of branch operations consultative relationship sales role in a related industry, with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening customer relationships, and delivering results professional and thorough, with strong follow-up skills able to adapt to new process and technologies quickly strong familiarity and fluency with branch technology, mobile and online banking platforms strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer-service skills Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time. The base pay range for this position is USD $22.00/Hr. - USD $23.50/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
