Cashier Position
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented cashier to join our chocolate shop team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and has a passion for sweet treats. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries about products. Operate the cash register and process payments (cash, credit, and digital). Ensure accurate handling of transactions and maintain balanced cash drawers. Package chocolate products attractively and handle gift orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area. Monitor inventory at the counter and restock as needed. Handle returns or exchanges according to store policy. Promote special offers and seasonal products to customers. Qualifications: Previous experience as a cashier or in retail/customer service preferred. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Preferred: Interest in chocolate and confectionery products. Experience with POS systems. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Comfortable lifting up to 20 lbs for restocking.
