The Account Manager is accountable to design and execute sales and marketing programs for the Retail account. Key drivers for success in this position involve building and leveraging relationships with suppliers, the KeHE Sales team, and the Retail Company's personnel. Ultimately, the scorecard for success will be measured by the increase of profitable sales as well as deepened relationships within the account. DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Increase sales at the account through analytical and fact-based selling Develop and maintain strong relationships with Category Managers and key stakeholders Increase sales by developing creative promotional plans and managing through to profitable execution Increase sales by finding new business opportunities and through consistent follow up Work with a sense of urgency towards projects, requests and deadlines Coordinate activities and communications among suppliers and company functional groups Monitor competitor activities and recommend paths forward to address these activities Communicate with all departments and organizational levels regarding sales and operations Assure that established company policies and procedures are followed in achieving the above accountabilities Must be available to work from the retailer's office 23 days each week SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Comfort and experience utilizing Microsoft Office and legacy enterprise software Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Four-year college degree preferred in Business related major Minimum 5 years' experience in sales of grocery products to chain accounts Proven record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations KeHE Distributors provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits all forms of discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, religion or faith, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
